As described on https://kb.mc4wp.com/fix-the-oops-something-went-incorrect-mistake/ the first pace in debugging this issue is to look in the log on MailChimp for Wp > Other page.
The error there should bespeak what actually went wrong. In this case I bet information technology was a field that is marked equally required in the list you showtime had selected, but the field was not added to the form, but it could be other things as well.
Please post the full error message from the log on MailChimp for WP > Other is you demand more help with this.

Cheers I checked and that required field setting was not the issue. It works fine for the second listing merely non the first, but both wait identical in the backend as far equally form fields. Only affair required is electronic mail and that is included on the website form field. The error log just says API Authentication mistake 404..merely nosotros are connected to the correct API and it says continued in green. As long as the new lists all work I'm fine with the solution, but moreso merely curious. Form 331 > Mailchimp API error: 401 Unauthorized. API Key Invalid. API key has been disabled

Hmm, strange error though!!
I recommend creating a new API key in your MailChimp account and making sure that the new API key has full admission by creating the API key with a user that has full access.
Afterward putting the new API key please become to MailChimp for WP > MailChimp page and click "Renew MailChimp Lists".

Same trouble here, renewing the primal doesn't work either.
